Enabling Efficient Production & Thriving with Smart Operations!
Change is inevitable. You can postpone it but can't stop it. The typical Indian printer is sitting on cross roads between a wait-and-watch and the need to drive his growth faster. This phenomenon is not restricted to just our fellow printers in India. Globally too, the need for growth and patience is the dilemma for medium sized printers.
The story of Winson Press Pte ltd based in Singapore is very similar. Although based in the global hub of Singapore which is not only a highly professionalised, but equally competitive, Winson Press Pte ltd has taken 'change' as their basis for growth. With their basic motto of ' Continuous Improvement', Winson Press has evolved from a book printer into a company with their footprint in both, traditional as well as modern printing which includes having a presence on-line too.
Tan Jit Khoon, who is the CEO of this award winning press shares with us their motto of 'continuous improvement' and how it has helped them ride the waves of change. Jit Khoon, will engage us in his transition from a print-broking firm into a constantly improving print company.
Tan Jit Khoon graduated from NUS with B. Eng (Mech) Hons from NUS in 1992. He started his career with Hewlett Packard as a Process Engineer before joining Winson Press in 1995. Under his leadership, Winson Press has transformed into a Gold Award winning printer providing innovative packaging and commercial print solutions for the health supplement, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, skin care, education, property development and F & B industries. Jit Khoon is passionate about continuous improvement. He strives to make small progress in all aspects of his life everyday through action based learning. To him, life is journey of continuous discovery &learning.
