Cushrow Jal Jassawala comes with 31 years of experience in printing and consumer durable industries. His focus has been on building organizational capabilities and providing strategic direction.
Worked with the Tata Group for 23 years before getting into the print industry with Thomson Press. Jassawala is the Executive Director & COO Thomson Press and in this capacity he heads the Print business vertical comprising of offset & digital printing with employee workforce of 1000+ regular and about 1300 on contract with 5 manufacturing facilities spread across NCR, and Chennai. He is responsible for strategy and operations across the value chain viz. profitability, domestic & export sales, manufacturing and people management.
 
Under Jassawala's captaincy Thomson Press has delivered y-o-y growth of 15% in export and in domestic markets. He was involved in establishing Mumbai operations as an export hub; grew business from scratch to turnover of INR 100 Cr in 3 years. He has engineered reliability as a Decisive Competitive Edge for Thomson Press, improving OTD (On-Time Delivery) from 57% to 95% within a span of 2 years, setting it apart from industry players. Infact he has made continuous improvement a way of life with focused improvement projects, for improving productivity, quality and cutting waste. Under him Thomson's have firmly established lean management practices like 5S, autonomous maintenance and Kaizen for leveraging operational efficiencies.
 
Jassawala holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) - from XLRI Jamshedpur.
